Rusty was founded in 1985 by shaper Rusty Preisendorfer in San Diego, California. Through the 90s they were one of the most respected surf brands in the world — sponsoring top pros and producing bold, distinctly California graphics. Their vintage pieces are underrated and increasingly hard to find.
